Pond fish

I enjoyed painting this. Been quite some time since I drew a mermaid, nonetheless, actually coloured it. And its not often that I work with water, so that was a good learning experience for me, the shadows, reflections and light. Anyways, I hope I did alright.


~I suppose a sparrow carried her to the pond when she was still young, now that she's gotten bigger, and her fish supply is running low, she enjoys stealing food and gummie bears from poeple picnicing at the park when thier backs are turned. The suspicious rumours of "Something" being in the water makes the park all the more popular.
